SOTO have created Japanese-inspired flaming devices since 1978 that each aim to reach maximum sustainable flames in the lowest possible time - even in the cold or winds. Founder Hajime Yamamoto invented the Shinfuji Burner that reset the industry standard of heating burners from minutes to seconds. Shinfuji continued to expand their burner products throughout 1990, and launched SOTO Outdoors (SOTO means "outdoors" in Japanese) in 2010. Since then, they have won 5 coveted industry awards.
