Come on in to pick up any of the below mandatory gear that you might not yet have! Scenic Rim Ultra 25km | 65km | 105km 10th August 2024 Scenic Rim | Queensland | Australia The Scenic Rim Ultra is one of the most hardcore and gruelling runs in Australia, filled with punishing mountain climbs, relentless ridgelines, technical downhills and some of the most spectacular scenery in Queensland. If you join up, then you're in for the adventure of a lifetime. 105km - Option A Capacity to carry at least 1.5L water Race number Mobile phone Waterproof bag Course map with checkpoints (available at registration) Headlight (can be placed in drop bag or with support crew, but will be mandatory at night) Backup headlight (can be placed in drop bag or with support crew, but will be mandatory at night) Wildfire Sports High Vis Safety Vest for all road sections and mandatory at night (can be placed in drop bag or with the support crew at Checkpoint 4) Flashing red tail light to be placed on the back of the hydration pack for all-night running Snakebite compression bandage (we will not accept anything else) Emergency pea-less whistle Emergency blanket 65km - Option A Capacity to carry at least 1.5L water Race number Mobile phone Waterproof bag Course map with checkpoints (available at registration) Headlight (optional, depending on your estimated race time) Snakebite compression bandage (we will not accept anything else) Emergency pea-less whistle Emergency blanket 25km - Option A Capacity to carry at least 1.5L water Race number Mobile phone Course map with checkpoints (available at registration) Snakebite compression bandage (we will not accept anything else) Emergency pea less whistle (this is a remote part of the course) 105km & 65km - Option B All the Option A items listed for your relevant distance are required plus: Thermal top (polypropylene or merino wool) Waterproof jacket (seam-sealed). These are weather-dependent items. There is a chance that you could be notified as late as the race briefing that Option B is required. Scenic Rim will endeavour to confirm more than one week before the race whether this option is required, weather forecasts can change quickly. Please come prepared for the possibility of needing Option B, and full confirmation will be provided at the race briefing. Pacers Pacers will also be required to carry mandatory gear for the 105km race only. If they donβt have the mandatory gear at any of the random checks, they will not be able to continue until they do.
